Group supervision for team coaches
As a Team Coach, you know that SuperVision is very important to your practice and being fit for purpose, due to the complexity of the work. As per the International Coach Federation (ICF), team coaches are expected to “engage in coaching supervision for support, development, and accountability when needed”* |
ICF defines “Coaching Supervision as a collaborative learning practice to continually build the capacity of the coach through reflective dialogue for the benefit of both coaches and clients.”

The intention of coaching SuperVision is to have a positive impact at a greater systems level through a reflective practice. SuperVision is a collaborative process that engages all participants in reflection through systemic lenses resulting in new possibilities. The reflective conversations unleash creativity and resourcefulness so that all coaches within the group are able to see more (with their “super” vision) and therefore are able to expand their perspectives. This group process also fosters a sense of community and connectedness.
We are pleased to offer you an exciting opportunity to join a learning community of trailblazers participating in a newly created and unique model for coaching supervision for team coaches.
Come join the movement of coaches who are already going beyond competency and capability building by experiencing group coaching supervision first-hand. SuperVision sessions support reflective practice, stimulate ongoing development, and help coaches to navigate challenging and ethical topics. Supervision provides a safe space for coaches to discuss and explore emerging issues and patterns. It is different from Coach Mentoring as it is not as evaluative or advisory in nature. No recordings are required, though coaches should come prepared to discuss a client issue or pattern that they are noticing and want to reflect on in community.

Larissa Thurlow (ESIA) and Traci Manalani (ESIA in progress) are both experienced Coach Supervisors who have completed credentialed programs for Coaching Supervision and Team Coaching. They began partnering to work with team coaches and conduct research through their specialized advanced training in Group Supervision. Larissa and Traci are both PCC-level credentialed coaches who were among the first 135 team coaches to receive the Advanced Certificate in Team Coaching (ACTC) credential from the ICF. Both have received University-based education as a foundation for their initial coach training and are deeply skilled and experienced with Team Coaching through various accredited Team Coach training programs and through years of direct experience as supervisors and team coaches. We believe SuperVision for team coaches is crucial to help unlock their resourcefulness in navigating complexity and to consider all stakeholders within multiple systems for maximum impact and model this through our co-supervision approach.
